LED with Common Anode and Common Cathode
Two types of seven-segment LED displays: common anode (CA-5501) and common cathode (CC-5503). The difference between the two displays is the common anode has all the anodes of the seven-segments connected directly together and the common cathode has all the cathodes of the seven-segments connected together.
